Episode 25 - The Late Hottest 100 and Ballarat Blues
Tuesday Mar 09, 2021
Tuesday Mar 09, 2021
This episode is very much a classic Beer O'Clock Australia Podcast; it's late, it's long, there's minor technical difficulties (hopefully not too noticeable) & it's pretty good (if we do say so ourselves!). There's a whole heap of very outdated news, we discuss the Hottest 100 results & talk about some new beers & breweries we've visited, what a joy being able to do that again! Due to being a bit time poor we remotely add just one lager to our Ranking of Lagers segment. Hope you enjoy!

Episode 23 - Kinda In, Kinda Out, All Good!
Monday Jan 04, 2021
Monday Jan 04, 2021
If this is your first time listening to a Beer O'Clock Australia podcast, welcome! We change the segments up a little each month, however most months we'll discuss some of the latest news from the beer world, we'll talk about some beers that we've been enjoying over the last month & we'll crack something interesting from my cellar, although recent restrictions are making this difficult...
This episode is very much a classic Beer O'Clock Australia Podcast; it's late, it's long & it's pretty good (if we do say so ourselves!). There's a whole heap of outdated news that we get our teeth stuck into, we talk about finally being able to get back to beer events as well as some of the great new beers available last month. Finally we finish off by clearing some beers out of my fridge that have been there since early-March, by adding 3 beers to our Ranking of Lagers & also cracking a cellar beer. Hope you enjoy!

Melbourne is back in COVID-19 lockdown & so is the Beer O'Clock Australia Podcast. Hopefully the podcast brings you more joy than lockdown... Hope everyone out there is coping with the constantly evolving situation we all find ourselves in. We've got a bumper episode for you all this week!
If this is your first time listening to a Beer O'Clock Australia podcast, welcome! We change the segments up a little each month, however most months we'll discuss some of the latest news from the beer world, we'll talk about some beers that we've been enjoying over the last month & we'll crack something interesting from my cellar.
This month there was a heap of news to get through, highlighted (lowlighted?) by the recent mainstream coverage of Blackhearts & Sparrows decision to stop stopping Colonial Brewing beers because of the connotations of the name. We feature our first ever interview on the podcast, with Dan Taranto from The Otter's Promise talking about the impact of COVID-19 on his business. We also managed to slot a Ukrainian lager into the Ranking of Lagers as well as discussing Range Brewing at length. Hope you all enjoy!
